Patricia Reid joined her father 2007 and since then she has worked side by side with her father. Growing up Patricia has watched and admired the zeal in which her father fought for his clients.
While James was Rutherford’s Municipal Court Judge, Patricia listened to his ruling and commended his knowledge of the law. With their collective experience and expertise, you are sure to benefit from their services.

James founded James H. Cleary, P.A. in 1978. Prior to which he was an associate in a boutique law firm in New Jersey, while being a clerk to Judges Huot, Lester and Smith. James has served the community of Rutherford for more than 30 years ago, since moving there. He has counseled the residents of New Jersey for over 40 years.
Along with being a trustworthy Attorney, and judge, James was also a firefighter with Rutherford’s Volunteer Firefighter Truck 1, President of the Rutherford Red Cross Chapter and was elected Rutherford’s councilman for two terms.
Currently, James is on the board of directors for the Kip Center, and Rutherford’s Lion’s Club, where he was president. He also served at Rutherford’s Municipal Court Judge for 3 years.
James is a resident of New Jersey, he has 4 children and 10 grandchildren. James loves spending time with his grandchildren and family when he's not working.
